Over 350 Maryland commercial real estate professionals turned out to salute the state's best in commercial projects at the Maryland Chapter of NAIOP's Awards 2008 Banquet on April 17.

Held at the distinguished M&T Bank Pavilion at the Hippodrome Theatre, the event recognized commercial real estate oriented companies and service providers with 29 Awards of Excellence. CLICK HERE to view the list of award winners and their winning projects!

Highlighting the evening affair was the presentation of NAIOP's Lifetime Achievement Award to Dwight Taylor of Corporate Office Properties Trust in recognition of his significant contributions to the industry.

Prior to the presentations, attendees enjoyed appetizers and cocktails that included dynamic networking opportunities.

Next on the agenda for NAIOP-MD are a couple of exciting events starting with the NAIOP-MD 2008 Spring Golf Outing
on May 12 at Chestnut Ridge Golf Course in Lutherville, Md. As a thank you from NAIOP-MD, only members may purchase a reservation. This year's event promises to be extremely worthwhile in terms of sharpening your game, supporting NAIOP's legislative programs, developer networking and most importantly good fellowship.

A few weeks later on June 5 the chapter will host its NAIOP-MD Summer Social at Nicks Fish House Baltimore, Md. Details will be announced soon. As space is limited for these events, be sure to register early.
