Area 8 in Baltimore Crossroads is a three-building 210,000 square
foot Class-A industrial development delivered in 2007 by Chesapeake
Real Estate Group. The warehouse and distribution buildings
range in size from 40,000- 93,000 SF and feature tilt-wall construction,
24' clear ceiling heights and both dock and drive-in truck loading.
Area 8 is nearly 50% occupied, with leases by BGE Home Products
and Services who took ocupancy of their 55,000 SF space in December
for their new corporate headquarters, and Pevco Systems, who
is occupying a free-standing 40,000 SF building fronting on
Route 43. Upon completion, Chesapaeake, with their partner Prudential
Real Estate Investors, will develop a total of 1.3 million square
feet of speculative and build-to-suit industrial facilities
at Baltimore Crossroads @95.
