Richard Ellis, Inc.
This original brewery property (Carlings then Strohs) was sold
to Washington Flour in 2001 and then sold to First Industrial
in 2004. First Industrial redeveloped the property, demolishing
parts of the building and obtaining the entitlements to create
additional outside parking and improved loading capacity. Ferguson
Enterprises, Inc., a subsidiary of Wolseley, PLC, a British
company, purchased the 375,000 sf facility on 29 acres from
First Industrial and invested another $9.5 millon to completely
refurbish and renovate the building and adapt if for their use.
The building now houses 4 related businesses: Ferguson Enterprises,
Inc., Stock Building Supply, Ferguson Fire and Fabrication and
Lyon & Conklin employing 150 people.
