NAIOP Sustainability Committee Goals

• Chapter Education and Outreach: Educational programming on all three dimensions of sustainability—environmental, social, and economic issues. This includes efforts to educate members of the chapter as well as efforts to reach out beyond the chapter's boundary , particularly to the brokerage community
• Sustainability Policy and Government Affairs Involvement: working in tandem with the legislative committee, track and influence local, state and national legislative issues that relate to environmental and social issues, and their economic impacts
• Chapter Communications: Chapter correspondence on relevant sustainability topics, presenting a variety of viewpoints
• Collaboration: Efforts to join forces with other organizations or individuals to explore or promote information on sustainability
• Recognition – work with the awards committee on programs to recognize local leaders in sustainability Identify efforts in respective areas of sustainability: green development, energy and water efficiency, renewable energy
