Awards of Excellence

On April 22, Maryland’s commercial real estate community will gather at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for the industry’s most anticipated evening to celebrate the NAIOP-MD Awards of Excellence. This signature event honors the highest quality and most innovative achievements in commercial real estate, recognizing standout projects as well as the developers, companies, and professionals who bring them to life. From transformative developments to the individuals whose leadership and service elevate our field, the Awards of Excellence shine a spotlight on the ingenuity, collaboration, and vision that continue to shape Maryland.

The evening will also pay tribute to exceptional individual achievement, including the Distinguished Merit Recipient, the F. Patrick Hughes Legislative Award, the Greg Masi Volunteer Award and Rising Star, Service Provider, and Broker honorees — each representing the very best of our industry’s talent and commitment.

This year’s celebration will be especially meaningful as NAIOP Maryland presents the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award to Lawrence F. Maykrantz, President and CEO of St. John Properties, Inc., whose extraordinary career and lasting impact have helped to define commercial real estate in our region.

Together, we will celebrate the projects that inspired us, the people who made them happen, and a legacy of excellence that continues to move our industry forward.
