Abby Glassberg, KLNB
Abby Glassberg, a trailblazer and tireless volunteer in Maryland’s commercial real estate community, has been named the 2026 recipient of the NAIOP Maryland Greg Masi Volunteer Award.
With a career spanning more than 35 years, Glassberg has left her mark on nearly every NAIOP Maryland committee and made history as the chapter’s first female president in 1998–1999. While she followed in her father’s footsteps, colleagues say she quickly established her own legacy through leadership, energy and an unwavering commitment to service.
Glassberg’s impact extends well beyond the industry. She currently leads philanthropic initiatives at KLNB and serves on the boards of the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation and the Howard County Library System. Her volunteer work includes supporting the Ronald McDonald House, mentoring young professionals at a local correctional facility and even judging at the Maryland Association of Agricultural Fair.
Known for bringing enthusiasm to everything she does, Glassberg somehow still finds time to train for endurance races.
