The Anne Arundel County Office of Planning and Zoning (OPZ) has launched the application web portal where interested parties can apply to serve on Stakeholder Advisory Committees for the upcoming Regional Plans. The first round of plans will address Regions 2, 4, and 7.

The OPZ website contains more information about the Regional Plan process which will evaluate future growth, infrastructure and quality of life issues, and feed recommendations back to the County Executive and County Council. OPZ has created a short handbook with details on the Regional Plan process. The  Stakeholder Advisory Committee Charter provides information about the time commitment and the function of the committees. A variety of seats provide opportunities for commercial real estate professionals to participate in shaping the future direction of Anne Arundel County. NAIOP members are encouraged to apply by accessing the application here

The application to serve on the Stakeholder Advisory Committees for Regions 2, 4, and 7 is open until midnight on July 18, 2021. The County Executive and County Council will work together to appoint and seat the committees. Reach out to LRP-OPZ@aacounty.org with any questions.
