BECO Management, a Rockville-based commercial real estate company that owns approximately 7.2 million square feet of office, flex/office and warehouse space throughout four states, has become the sixth “Platinum” sponsor of the NAIOP Partner in Excellence Program. Other local companies that support the commercial real estate trade association at this level are Corporate Office Properties Trust, First Potomac Realty Trust, Hill Management Services, Merritt Properties and St. John Properties.

Twenty-five organizations now participate in the NAIOP Maryland Partner in Excellence Program on the Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze levels. In addition to BECO Management, Greenfield Partners and Prologis are new Gold partners, while Floors, Etc., McGladery, LLP and RS&F Chartered have invested at the Bronze level. The Partners in Excellence Program provides increased visibility and exposure for the participating company across all NAIOP programming and communication platforms, benefits in the form of discounted or free tickets to industry events and other sponsorship opportunities.

“Our company recognizes the importance of supporting our industry at the highest level, so investing with NAIOP Maryland at the Platinum level was an easy decision for our team,” stated Jeffrey Lee Cohen, Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer for BECO Management. “We are particularly impressed with the momentum achieved by the NAIOP Maryland Legislative Committee to represent the broad-based interests of commercial real estate developers and associated members.”
