Baltimore, MD (January 18, 2013) – Christopher Smith, General Counsel for Manekin, LLC, has been elected to the NAIOP Maryland Board of Directors for a two-year term. NAIOP Maryland has more than 370 members and is comprised of individuals working for real estate development companies, brokerage firms and affiliated companies such as financial institutions, architectural firms and engineers.
Since 1999, Mr. Smith has served as General Counsel for the full-service, commercial real estate development, investment and management firm operating throughout the Baltimore-Washington marketplace. His primary day-to-day activities focus on the oversight of all legal and risk-management matters. Mr. Smith earned his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University and also completed the New York University’s Real Estate Institute Program.
