For years, F. Patrick Hughes Legislative Award winner Chris Nevin has used his insider’s perspective on both the CRE industry and Maryland politics to decipher and address those legislative issues.
Since first being elected mayor of Hampstead in 1995, Chris has been reelected six times. In 2025, he was selected by fellow mayors to serve as Chair of the Maryland Municipal League Legislative Committee.
As Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at First National Bank, Channels channels deep expertise and insight to develop capital market solutions for CRE projects in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic.
He has served on the NAIOP Maryland Executive Committee as Treasurer for years and has been a constant presence on the Legislative Committee.
