NAIOP Maryland 2014, the local association comprised of more than 370 professionals working for real estate development companies, brokerage firms and affiliated companies such as financial institutions, brokerage firms and affiliated companies, has announced its roster of 2014 officers and board of directors.

The officers are James Knott, Jr. of Knott Realty Group, President; Brendan Gill of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, President-Elect; Vince Bagli, Merritt Properties, Vice President; Dianna Wilhelm, Wilhelm Business Enterprises, Immediate Past President; Robert Bavar of Bavar Properties Group, 2nd Immediate Past President; and Christopher Nevin of BB&T, Secretary/Treasurer.

The board of directors is comprised of Danielle Beyrodt, Hill Management; Taylor Fields, Knott Realty Group; John Hermann, Corporate Office Properties Trust; James Lighthizer, Chesapeake Real Estate Group; Tom Pilon, St. John Properties; Connie Rhodes, Rhodes Development; Christopher Smith, Saul Ewing; Lisa Sullivan, Liberty Property Trust and Matthew Wilson, First Potomac Realty Trust.

“NAIOP Maryland recently achieved the highest number of member professionals in the history of our chapter, which represents an excellent barometer of the accomplishments and momentum we generated within the past year,” explained James Knott, Jr. President of NAIOP Maryland. “Our officers and board of directors are focused on raising the awareness of the NAIOP brand, executing quality programming, representing the interests of our members in Annapolis and demonstrating the value proposition of our Chapter.”

Last year, NAIOP Maryland was recognized as the 2013 NAIOP “National Chapter of the Year.”

NAIOP is the nation’s leading trade association for developers, owners, investors and other professionals in industrial, office and mixed-use commercial real estate. Comprising 16,000 members in 55 chapters, it provides networking opportunities, educational programs, research on trends and innovations and strong legislative representation.
