Nearly forty commercial real estate professionals participated in the annual NAIOP Maryland Developing Leaders mini-golf tournament at Arundel Golf Park. Mixing in networking with a little bit of putting, the “best threads” award was presented to (left to right) John Mettee IV, Frederick Ward Associates; Justin Potillo-Crawley, Frederick Ward Associates; Michelle Cho, Kaiser Permanente and Olivia Millspaugh, MRP Industrial. EJ Edelman, Colliers International (pictured far right) was elected the “Most Likely to Go Pro” by the attendees. The event was sponsored by Hills-Carnes Engineering Associates.
“Spending a summer Friday afternoon outside, on a bright sunny day, provides the perfect venue to relax and meet some new faces in the commercial real estate industry,” explained Spencer Perry, Chairman of the Developing Leaders committee and a Business Services Officer for BB&T. “It has become a tradition to wear creative golfing outfits to this event, and this year’s choices did not disappoint. This adds to the fun and informal nature of the gathering.”
The NAIOP Maryland Developing Leaders program is open to professionals thirty-five years of age and younger. The group is part of the NAIOP Maryland Chapter but also organizes exclusive project tours, educational seminars and networking events throughout the year.
