NAIOP Maryland elected its 2023 slate of officers and board members at the recent holiday luncheon, including welcoming two new professionals to the board of directors – Kate Nolan Bryden, Senior Vice President, MRP Industrial and Michael Tait, Leasing Representative for St. John Properties, Inc. and bringing back Paul Giulio, Vice President of Development for Hill Management Services, LLC.

The board terms begin on January 1, 2023 for three years. Tait is also assuming the role as Committee Chair for the Developing Leaders group.

Beginning their second year as officers are: John Hermann, Corporate Office Properties Trust, President; Kate Jordan, Lee & Associates | Maryland, President-Elect; Sean Doordan, St. John Properties, Vice President; Christopher Nevin, First National Bank, Secretary/Treasurer; Jim Lighthizer, Chesapeake Real Estate Group, Immediate Past-President.

Additional members of the Board of Directors are: Elizabeth Allison, Merritt Properties; William Barroll, Corporate Office Properties Trust; Karen Cherry, Prologis; Jannine Hayes, Knott Realty Group; Scooter Monroe, MAG Partners; Tom Pilon, St. John Properties; Danielle Schline, Prologis; Nicole Wilhelm Smith, ECS Mid-Atlantic and Scott Wimbrow, MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services.

“Kate, Michael and Paul are each extremely respected commercial real estate professionals working for high-profile companies,” said Hermann, who returns for his second year as NAIOP-MD president. “We are confident they will add unique perspectives and important insights as we continue to build the NAIOP Maryland brand and serve the interests of our members.”

Morgan Gilligan of Stewart Title Guaranty Company who serves as co-chair of the NAIOP-MD Awards of Excellence Committee, is retiring from the board after serving two, three-year terms.

“We would like to thank Morgan for his extremely valuable contributions and leadership in advancing our mission and programs,” Hermann said.
